Carter's First Day of Pre-School

Hooray! Carter has started preschool. He has been so excited for this day for over a year now. He started out the day with a bowl of oatmeal next to his best friend Hayden.

Hayden was as excited as Carter, but he didn't realize that he would be coming home with me and that Carter would be staying. He stood right by Carter for as long as he could.

Hayden and I survived though. We both managed to leave with no tears, just smiles. It helped having really great friends there with me. We'll see how I handle kindergarten and first grade!

Trev & Ted's Visit

My youngest brother Trevor and his girl friend Tedi came and played with us for a week. It was Tedi's birthday so the boys helped me make a birthday cake and they were going nuts waiting for Trev & Tedi to get here. Of course they were excited to see Trevor, but they were really excited to help Tedi eat her cake.
Carter played the piano for us while we sang Happy Birthday to Tedi.

Baby Peyton wasn't to interested in exploring all of Dallas so we just chilled at the house and watched a lot of Olympics, but we did get out to Dallas Zoo one day.

We had such a fantastic time and we miss them so much.

On August 10th we blessed our sweet baby Peyton. Seth's mom, sister Lisa, and brother Danny were all able to be there. It was such a wonderful day!

Seth's mom and Lisa were able to stay for a few days.
We took them to see the Dallas Temple and around downtown Dallas. We had a great time with them. We were so happy that they could come.

Peyton is getting so big. He is by far my chubbiest baby. I love it!

Isn't he so precious! I love him to pieces.

Gram's Visit

My mom came to stay with us for a few weeks after Peyton was born and we all loved it, especially the boys.

Gram took the boys to the park and they wore her out.

Here's the boys enjoying the swimming pool that Gram bought them.

Hayden wasn't happy until he had soaked everyone with the hose.
For the 4th of July we went to Rockwall to watch the fireworks over the lake.

We took Gram to the Dallas Zoo.

And of course, Peyton enjoyed all the loves from Gram.

While she was here, Gram made this really cool tepee for the boys. They totally love it. She is such a great Grandma. We love and appreciate her so much.
